THE DREAM

I was standing alone in an empty train station at night. On the opposite platform, a white fox was holding a long red thread in its mouth.

A train arrived, but every door opened except the one directly in front of me. The fox crossed the tracks without being harmed, placed the red thread at my feet, and then disappeared.

When I looked down, the thread was tied around my wrist. I woke feeling strangely calm, but also sad.

Feeling on waking: Mixed or hard to describe.
